The Quinn Keast Foundation administers the Quinn Keast Memorial Scholarship Fund. A large number of donations have been made to the fund by members of the basketball family, the wider community, extended Keast family, friends and supporting businesses. The Fund has also been enhanced by the proceeds of several events staged by the QKF which celebrate the game of basketball and contribute to charitable causes.

The scholarship program is intended to encourage those graduating high school players whose commitment and passion for the game, for sportsmanship and for their own personal development is deserving of recognition. Recipients are required to provide confirmation of registration at a post-secondary educational institution in order to receive the allocated funds.

In addition to the scholarship program, the QKF has partnered with Big Kahuna Sports to present the '˜Quinn Keast Player of the Final Game' award at the Boys AAA Provincial Tournament. Quinn was the recipient of this award when he co-captained Handsworth to its first ever AAA Provincial championship in 2006.

As a lasting symbol of several of these awards the QKF created two very special trophies incorporating a bronzed pair of Quinn's basketball shoes. The '˜Left Shoe Trophy' is presented annually to the HSBC Basketball Classic scholarship winner and the '˜Right Shoe Trophy' is kept at Handsworth and is inscribed with the names of a player on each of the school's basketball teams who best exemplifies the qualities that Quinn stood for.
