Sibling Safe Ride: CBC Interview
In 2008, a Handsworth classmate of Jamie and Quinn and member of the basketball program, Allie Chalke, set out to organize a program designed to help Handsworth graduates stay safe and make good, informed decisions on their night of graduation. This is how Sibling Safe Ride came to be; the name stems from older siblings and Handsworth alumni of current graduates who volunteer their time each June to drive graduates to their destinations, which is typically Handsworth's "safe after-grad."
Thank-you to the Handsworth Parent Advisory Council (PAC) on their annual donation to the program.
